Where are we now?

Thinking about the economy and trying my best to buy made in the USA, I started reading about the Garment District in an old copy of the New Yorker. The garment district was once spectacular. 95% of the clothes in American were made here in America, now it is only 5%. Although we know it is much cheaper to make products overseas is it really worth it? I am not so sure. If we all start trying to buy made in USA maybe just maybe we can help the district flourish again and by doing that we will be helping All of us. From the 1950's to 1992 the district shrank by 75%. NY lost 225,000 jobs just in that Field. Lets face it not everyone is college bound. We need trades and we need manufacturing
