My Blog

I never thought I would use my blog for religious or political reasons. After reading some of the blogs out there that were not intended for anything but DIY and decorating but some how managed to sneak politics and religion into them I would like to add my thoughts and opinion. I am what I will consider an moderate Democrat I completely believe in helping the less fortunate and in social programs such as public education public libraries Social Security and so on. I also believe that people need to learn how to take care of themselves and many programs do not teach them to do so, they make them to dependent on those programs. Now for the religious part I am not a religious person at all and I hope never to be one. I once believed in god and all that and I found that it made me a hypocrite and unmoral. I live my life giving as much as I can, never hurting any living creature that includes people, I live my life trying to tell the truth although I will admit sometimes I don't. I don't steal or cheat and I love deeply. So why would anyone think that an agnostic or an atheist is not moral? I can give you the answer. Because religion makes you judge and condemn it doesn't change with time it doesn't allow a place for ALL good human beings That's why it has no place in my life. Because without religion I am very accepting loving kind and yes Moral. If kindenss and acceptance were religions I would be a preacher.
