That takes a lot of courage!

Do you think the statement "religion makes you judge and condemn" could be considered a judgmental statement toward religious people?

There are a lot of religions. I know of at least one that specifically teaches not to judge.

On a side note, I am loving all of the great DIY projects on your blog. I will check back again soon!Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17053681212895174585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2189097516929424579.post-75486745612666478142011-01-04T21:33:50.309-05:002011-01-04T21:33:50.309-05:00P.S. Or, one might say "spiritual." I am Catholic, I don't go to church, I judge people ALL the time... If that makes me a hypocrite, well, I say, "OK, whatever anyone wants to call me is fine by me." How the HELL can I be religious then? Well, I believe in God; I know that God loves me even WITH my faults; without the Good Lord I know that I wouldn't be able to make it day by day; I 'talk' to God ALL the time; I am grateful for everything He allows me to have; I am grateful and humbled that He blessed me with my son; I am grateful that He has provided for my son and I; I try to be kind and generous to others, even if it's only giving $10 or $20 every so often to charities, such as St. Jude's Hospital, to make Him happy and show my thanks, even though I am out of a job; I am grateful knowing that if I need anything, I can pray to God and He will help; oh, I could go on and on. So I guess I an not the normal religious person, or a nice, good person and maybe a hypocrite -- I guess I am just an 'abnormal' Gloria!
Best,
GloriaGloriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05089446185793581415noreply@blogger.com
